Christmas Memories!

Bedroom in Underwood House

In the master bedroom of the Underwood house, there was a fireplace. On the mantle of the fireplace, the Underwood family hung their Christmas stockings. The presents they got were from America, so they were usually special.

One of Richard Underwood’s favorite presents was a red duffle coat and black beret. The presents were intended for Richard’s father.  It was probably the fact that Richard’s father didn't like his gift that persuaded his father to give them to him and not his puppy dog eyes!  When his father gave him the presents, Richard Underwood loved them!
